Knowledge of this is why I am doing my part toward helping end illiteracy. This is my platform because as Miss Teen Carver County 2014, as well as simply being a human being, I want to make people aware of the education injustice in the US, along with the rest of the world, and do what I can to change it. This is why I organized the Lions 5M2 book drive and my summer Reading in the park program, so I can start attempting to end it. I want to educate others that it does not take large amounts of time or money to start helping make a difference.
